Lake Tahoe Avalanche Kills Close-Knit Mom Ski Group

An avalanche at Lake Tahoe killed eight skiers, with one still missing. Six victims were part of a close-knit mom group, including two sisters. The experienced backcountry skiers were caught in the slide during a guided outing.
