Russia Launches Rival to Starlink

Russia has launched its first 16 low-orbit satellites, aiming to create a domestic internet constellation to rival SpaceX's Starlink. The government has allocated $1.26 billion, but the system remains far behind Starlink's existing network of over 10,000 satellites.
