Daytime Meteor Explodes Over Northeast, Rattles Region

A rare daytime fireball, a meteor, streaked across the northeastern US sky. NASA used over 200 eyewitness reports to track its 117-mile path from near Long Island to New Jersey at 30,000 mph before it disintegrated.
