Islanders rookie Schaefer wins Calder in unanimous vote

New York Islanders defenseman Matthew Schaefer, 18, won the Calder Trophy as unanimous NHL rookie of the year, first since 1993. He recorded 59 points, dedicated the win to his late mother, and created a cancer support center.
