Fire cloud fuels catastrophic wildfires in France

French firefighters battle a massive Bordeaux wildfire generating its own thunderstorms via "fire clouds" (pyrocumulonimbus). These create unpredictable winds and dry lightning, spreading flames. Over 250,000 evacuated. Climate change increases frequency of these extreme phenomena.
