Iowa Family Swaps Hog Barns for Thriving Mushroom Farm

An Iowa family transitioned their hog farm into a specialty mushroom operation called 1100 Farm, receiving support from The Transfarmation Project. They retrofitted barns, converted a manure pit into a pond, and now serve as a demonstration hub for farmers leaving industrial animal agriculture.
