Shohei Ohtani's former translator, Ippei Mizuhara, is accused of stealing over $16 million from Ohtani to cover gambling debts, as per federal authorities. Mizuhara allegedly exploited his position, made unauthorized transfers, placed numerous bets, and even used Ohtani's money to buy baseball cards.
