Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, settles a $1.4bn privacy lawsuit in Texas over unauthorized use of biometric data. Texas attorney general Ken Paxton approved the largest single-state settlement with Meta over allegations of violating state law prohibiting the capture or sale of biometric information without consent.
