Hurricanes Threaten Florida Sea Turtle Nests, Conservation Efforts Continue

Florida officials are concerned that hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton washed away a large percentage of sea turtle nests along the Gulf Coast. Despite an increase in nests this year, many were lost due to the storms.
