Cold case suspect of mother's murder identified, dementia prevents prosecution

Authorities in Washington state have identified Carl D. Schlobom, 69, as the suspect in the 2003 murder of Tamara “Tammy” Mattson, a mother of seven, but cannot charge him due to his advanced dementia. This brings closure to the case.
