A 52-year-old Wisconsin man, Steven Merkel Jr., has been charged with the first-degree reckless homicide of his 9-year-old stepson, Michael Meagher. Merkel admitted to showing the boy his handgun to appear "cool" and accidentally fired it. A GoFundMe has been started for the family.
