A humpback whale trapped in 800kg of fishing equipment off Australia's Gippsland coast was successfully rescued by a multi-agency team. Severely restricted in movement, the whale was cut loose from most of the entanglement. Rescuers used a crane to remove the gear to prevent hazards. read more
